I wouldn't be too quick to judge. Some of these people are new and have to pay up to learn their lessons. I think we have all probably done that. I know I have and I'll probably make mistakes in the future. I expect that the regulators will be coming soon regarding those paid chat rooms.

I know of a person secondhand who is a fairly new investor. Someone who works for me mentioned to him off the cuff that a company called XXXX was running up. It went from 3/8 to 10 in late 1998, the latest internet stock. He bought. Went on to 13 3/4. Did he sell? No. Still holding it at 3 3/4. When he finally takes the loss, it will be another lesson learned. Hopefully, at not too big of an expense.

Note. Sorry, I changed my mind about actually naming the company. I don't want to be condemned by any current shareholders, etc.
