Olu,

Re amzn. Friday was another murky day. AMZN clearly could not sustain an upward move. Its most crowded price level was around 137 to 138. I have no idea what started a late afternoon surge to 140, but of course it was swatted down very easily to 135 with only 25000 shares. Can you believe that ? It only took two block sells, 15,000 then 10,000 spaced about 5 minutes apart to prompt the day traders and momentum players to dump the stock. I think you were lucky your 144 limit was not reached.

Jan has said many times this stock goes up on panic short covering. The shorts are not panicking. And now especially, some of us made a little money last week and covered a little.

My plan for Monday is to place a sell at 140 and 143. and a buy at 130 and 127. If anything fills, it will be fine. I have the feeling that amzn will gap up on Monday open.
