Just curious, what does the IOS.vxd file do? I have another computer where I updated it per microsofts (Win95a) update and now it won't load. Something about SYSTEM.INI can't load C:\windows\system\vmm32\ios.vxd

Well, the file is there but the only way I can get Windows 95 to load is to rename the ios.vxd file so it isn't seen.

Thanks, Jim
