Just reviewing the questions:
Yes, CDMA succeeded hugely in Los Angeles and all across the USA.
CDMA in Hong Kong has hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
Korea is absolutely full of cmdaOne!
Trenton is no longer a test market, but is flat out. Yes, people really like CDMA a LOT.
Will China be the biggest CDMA market? It looks as though it will be with a suggestion today from China that cdma2000 will be selected for China.
The technical developments going on are SiGe, pdQ, ThinPhone, high data rate, cdma2000, CineComm, umpteenth generation ASICs, WirelessKnowledge; Revolv etc, Wireless Business Solutions improvements, QCell, Globalstar handset tweaking, Eudora Pro 4, WWeb negotiations for 3G licensing and lots more too numerous to mention.
NextWave Telecom [along with all the rest] appeared to bid too much for spectrum, but we'll find out soon if that is true. It would be funny if the total rebid exceeded the previous prices.
There aren't any Anita [TM] devices available yet. Notebook computers continue to improve in leaps and bounds. Inclusion of cdmaOne phones can't be far away now.
Will you get rich from CDMA and Qualcomm? Looks as though you will do very well. Globalstar up from $3 to $17 and Q! up from $18 to $85. That looks okay. What's more, Q! seems just to be finally getting some stockmarket recognition.
Globalstar had one year delay, but things are ticking along nicely now. Eudora is looking for a better role. Let's hope it becomes a cybermoney link and Q! a cyberbank using brilliant Q! encryption.
Just checking in to monitor progress, which seems to have been comprehensive success.
