Dear Taxman,
DELL had other issues IMO. Take a look at EBAY who recently split.
Or for a pre split effect NSOL & DCLK. Or for non Inut issues take a looksee at MRK pre & post as well as PFE for a pre split effect (which
will take it to 170 - 180 IMO before the actual split).
1999 is shaping up to be the year of the split, honestly hope you reevaluate your stance on the "value" of a split, we all invest differently, I wish you every success in yours.

"ge might be increasing in price because of its investment in internet companies such as cnbc, msnbc and cnet."
GE owns 7% of IVIL that went public Friday ;). While it is a factor,
it is far from the only reason. Indications are for a short term rise
to 120 within 1 to 2 months and 150 - 160 by EOY. Chart of GE is very
interesting when compared to the DOW, the consensus is that GE will breakout of that pattern and leave the DOW behind, of course it is always welcoms to follow, lolo ;),, AMB,, Barbara
