Crazy, Before I got to your post I was also remembering SUNW announcing before last earnings report that earnings could be affected by the changeover in their financial hardware (changeover to all SUNW stuff). If they were not going to meet estimates, it would have been last quarter......IMHO. However, we all know there is no such thing as a sure thing and, are purchases slowing down due to Y2K? We will see. SUNW is my fifth largest holding behind GE, MSFT, CSCO and WCOM. (BTW, I see no reason why reasonable people cannot own both MSFT and SUNW and expect to do very well in both investments. What does anyone else think about this?) Later. Sueponine.
