Gemstar reported earnings for the 12/96 quarter of $0.16 per share on sales of 19,119,000 up from sales of 14,024,000 for the 12/95 quarter. These results beat the estimate of $0.14 and was reported after the close today (2/18). I expect that the stock will gap up tomorrow. This is one of my smaller holdings, but I expect that it will do quite well in the future.
