Oil and Air: -
You raised some good points susie. While I am still following and invested in U, ALK and LUV, I am surprised that we haven't seen a break-out on these stocks. I view LUV as a long term hold, like WMT and WCOM and MSFT - it is the class of the airlines. U and ALK are more traders to me, not very successfully I might add. I remain suspect of oil as a short term play. There have been too many false starts. While this group, oil and oil services, is about as oversold as it gets, the true resurgence of the sector will be marked by a rebound in world economies, particularly Asia, not by OPEC production reductions. Right now I see Asia and Oil, Oil Service as probably the biggest potential gainers over an 18 -24 month period of time. And gains of huge proportions. But in a trading world where 18-24 minutes is a long-term, I don't think many accept that perspective. Larry
