Donald,

this liquidity had been a puzzle to me for some time.

I took a few hours yesterday trying to make some sense of this fund inflow issue, using 14 months of weekly data collected from the AMGdata site. There is no correlation whatsoever that I can find between the data and the market on a short term basis. I tried MAs, mutual fund inflow, taxable funds, MM funds, summed all of the above, and found nothing. Any one who wants the data please send me a private message. It is in EXCEL format.

Maria B keeps saying "folks, funds keep flowing into the market ..."

While that statement is probably true, what it really means is a different story, not necessarily the bullish tone that Maria B implies.
