Joe, The Dell story was funny because IBM was supposed to be the buyer. How a co. with a 30 pe ratio can buy a co. with an 80 pe ratio and not mess up eps is beyond me. But no merger idea is laughable any more. Many cos. have bloated stock prices to use as capital and they don't have eps growth to worry about, so why not do something really stupid? <g> MB
