Does 3dfx hold a patent (or exclusive rights, or something) for SLI? I was wondering why the PGP solution didn't use some form of scan line interleave rather than using half-screens. Patent infringement quickly came to mind. Has anyone seen the commercial run on TV yet? I've been taping the NCAAs on CBS and not seen it yet. FYI, I did some research and the $20M definitely includes air time. Typical "major" commercial production should be less than $1M. A little more research found that you don't get billed for air time until your ad is actually run. This means much of the $20M should get spread out on the SG&A lines of mulitple quarters.
