My understanding was that the FDA was no longer posting adverse reaction statistics on a monthly basis as they did in mid 1998. They did however update information on November 24 1998 which was about 3 months before their latest update back in August 1998.

The point is that the reason we have this type of web site/information is to keep the public informed and I am sure that it is Pfizer's influence over the FDA that prevents us from getting at least a quarterly update on adverse reaction.

According to DAVID, the FDA told him that the most recent information can be obtained by writing a letter requesting such information and that it takes at least 2 weeks to get the information. My understanding is that this information must be released via The Freedom of Information Act. I believe that Pfizer wants to keep this information under the rug while it pays various doctors to do research that paints a favorable light on Viagra as it relates to the dangers of the hypotensive effects. The March edition of The Journal of Urology has about 5 or 6 articles about sildenafil. The information presented is nothing new and many vague terms are used such as "sildenafil is well tolerated...." blah blah blah. None of the abstracts I read gives information as to who paid for these various studies.
