After its regular report from the war zones, the Croatian television screen
showed a young singer dressed and made up like Neda U [...a star pop singer
from Sarajevo, her songwriter N, from Zagreb].
'We've re-recorded all Neda's hits. So we can restore all out great
composer's N's wonderful compositions to Croatian popular music. So that his
music will belong to the corpus of Craotion pop,' said the singer,
emphasizing the word 'corpus'.
'But you sing just like Neda!' said the reporter.
'That's the way to make N.'s music Croatian again,' said the singer, for
a moment confused by the complex logic. 'I'll work on developing my own
identity later,' she added.
