Agree. eBay's price does seem a little high. But due to their compelling business model, their earnings will catch up. I feel one cannot be too rational with these high flyers. They have defied conventional wisdom and I believe they will continue to do so. So instead of procrastinating further, I bought some eBay. Rationality such as valuation of a stock like eBay may not work too well to a sector undergoing revolutionary changes. I feel the key to play Internet stocks is to choose the right stocks, not to choose the right price. I must stress that price of a good stock will never be right to a value investor. They have said MSFT overvalued for years, but it keeps roaring.
