Chuzz, dear, some musings in the same vein.

I worry about another spate of acquisitions, which will make tracing organic growth even more difficult. I also worry about integration issues when these guys are on an acquisition roll; I worry even more when Larson babbles the word "integrated" over and over again, when so much of the supposed suites is not integrated. It must be extremely difficult for the R&D folks to weave the integration while new acquisitions keep rolling in the door. So far, though, the company has managed to keep them; any word of problems on that front and you'll see me freak. And, of course, it's hell on the salesforce, as all of this reorganization demonstrates.

However, I fear that the company will have to hit the trail again. Without one big line that is a blockbuster and operating in markets that are relatively mature, the company's major growth engine is cross selling opportunities and the ability to weave suites that can stimulate demand more than point products can.
