AMD was started 30 years ago - Intel started 30.75 years ago. AMD released their K6 1 month BEFORE Intel released their Pentium II. AMD announced an on-chip L2 cache before Intel ever did. AMD's K7 is over a year ahead of Intel's "7'th" generation CPU, as you keep reminding us. What head start? Paul
