That's a good arguement. In fact, I just replaced my old Intel 486-33 with a really inexpensive
PCI motherboard and an AMD 486-120-s...so Intel isn't getting my money right now. So in a way, that
is a vote for the non proprietary side of the arguement. I wonder if consumers appetites will shift
back the other way--wouldn't it be interesting if people started buying Apples again? I think the best
way to simplify the TSNG question, at least for me, is what will my next video card be? I just upgraded
my old Speedstar to a Genoa Phantom 64 (S3 chip). If my next upgrade takes me to a Tseng chip I may
revisit this discussion:)
