In reply to your first question - do stocks that beat the street really move up on average more in the next 1-5 weeks? I have two years of data on stock prices after earnings reports, and street beaters do outperform other stocks, and continue to outperform on average at least until the next earnings report comes out. I already have started keeping track of your earnings plays, but since I only joined MG a month ago, I do not have much data yet. I mostly am following stocks that are setting up cup and handle formations, and I see by other comments that other threaders are interested in these, too. I think your idea for the second thread is great. I don't know where you find the time to do all this, but if I have some information that could help here, I'll post it.
