i am a fan of steve harmon since i first read his articles last summer. at the start of this year when steve waited a few days to list his top ten and the market was going nuts (up,up) i decided to take matters in my own hands and used a significant amount of my port. to index the ISDEX. i could not wait forever for a mutual fund company to do it. the commissions are high with that many purchases but the upside is a lot(it can take money to make money). of course steve beats me with his top ten!

by indexing i get exposure across all of the pure plays of the net. 1) E-COMMERCE CONTENT e.g. AMZN, EBAY, 2) SECURITY e.g. VRSN, 3) ISPS/ACCESS e.g. MSPG, PSIX, 4) CONTENT/HUBS e.g. AOL, CNET, GNET, 5) ENABLERS e.g. CMGI, BVSN, 6) SOFTWARE e.g. RNWK, and INFRASTRUCTURE e.g. CSCO.
i also over weighted the index with my favorites of the ISDEX and then added companies doing the fiber plumbing e.g. GBLX, QWST, LULT.
so far this has given me a 52% return this first 2 1/2 months of the year. more later on my approach as my wife needs me. i am interested in any comments (good, or bad) on what i an doing. i know some of these stocks may get killed, but some will make a killing.
