BARRON'S MARKET WEEK ARTICLE PAGE MW5:

Excerpt from Barron's article:

<<VALUEVISION INT'L, the No 3 home shopping channel, could soon get a boost from its quarterly profit report due this week, increased Wall Street interest in the company and its relationship with General Electric's NBC, according to Mark Reily, an analyst at Media Group Research.
Valuevision was up 5/8 to 13 1/4 last week. The stock has traded between 3 and 15 13/16 in the past year. Reily says Wall Street is underestimating the benefits from General Electric's purchase of a 19.9% interest in ValueVision earlier this month. GE's clout in the cable business should help ValueVision gain access to more cable systems around the country. "ValueVision has $4 a share in cash and other non-core assets. You're not paying much for their home shopping and e-commerce business." Reily says ValueVision could hit 20 by midsummer.>>
