H2OSHINSKY...
Thanks for the update....Was going to post it on the thread, but you beat me to it...It has been a long hard struggle with DCHT, I know. And I have been relatively quiet lately, due to the bashing....But it appears to me that we are reading more and more regarding hydrogen and energy. But am hoping everything will end up being fruitful, despite the ups and downs.. As you can see by the article, these people were not new to the technology, or the implications and opportunities. They already had plenty of knowledge of the workings and potential of hydrogen and/or hydrogen related products, and decided to grab a piece of the upcoming market...and went forth
To reiterate:
1. they are in a good positions, as they have no debt, which is not very common on OTC stocks. Shares are still relatatively low, which is another uncommon uccurence for these small start up companies..,.especially in the field of science/technogy. Their R&D IMO was relatively low, with good results. 2. They have developed "a hand-held device for hunting down leaks, a model for installation on hydrogen-powered devices, and a version for use in permanent locales where hydrogen might seep out, such as at a nuclear power plant or waste-treatment center. " 3. They are working with Allied Signal, a very well known name in the industry, and I would think Allied would think twice before putting or associating their name with any "fly by night" company 4. DCH sensor flew aboard a NASA space shuttle mission last year to test the device's extraterrestrial applications. Westinghouse recently certified the technology for use at a Russian nuclear power plant it is retrofitting. TRUST ME, NASA DOESN'T TAKE ANYTHING LIGHTLY...THERE IS TONS OF PAPERWORK, AND STANDARDS TO MEET THEIR ACCEPTANCE. AND...Anyone ever heard of Westinghouse??? Do you think Westinghouse puts their name on just anything? DUH!... 5.Haberman and Walker, have been working to establishing relationships with a bevy of blue chip names they hope will result in 1999 sales of between $3 million and $4 million. There are some very big names as alliances in the works.... NOT THERE YET, but hopefully will be after they are more established..We should be hearing more. 6. Northrup Grumman Corp. is using DCH products in its metallurgy division. Other customers include Ford Motor Co., Lockheed Martin Defense Systems and the U.S. Naval Medica Research Institute. More big names that I would think would not lend their name indiscriminatorily.
While no one can guarantee what is ahead for the future in hydrogen energy, from what I have been reading and hearing, there is a much greater push, finally, to find a substitute for "fossil" fuel oil.
It is my opinion, that DCHT, ahead of many others, in their own right, has already started and will continue to gain further acceptance in the alternative energy field. Now, the big question is...What will the Fuel Giants do about it???? They know it's coming, have known it is coming, it has been stated over 20 yrs, that alternative energy needs to be developed...They will have to take some kind of action just to stay in business, and I would think as progress continues, they already have contingency plans...I already see public vehicles that have signs on them regarding their use of natural gas as an alternative. And as most of you know, it has already been established that another alternative electrical energy was smashed down, most likely by the same GIANTS. Wonder why???(DUH)...It is my opinion that once the giants realize their "power game" is diminishing, they will turn to those companies offering alternative energy, and team up with them, in order to remian strong. I may be wrong, but it would seem to me that for them, it would be a win/win situation for them....But that is down the road..
Kind of reminds me of when the large tobacco industries such as Philip Morris and friends, turned to other things such as Campbells, etc., in order to make sure they survived the major change in the industry..The change was slow, but it was there...
Bottom line....the technology is still relatively new, but has tremendous potential, and I see many good things down the road for DCHT, especially in lieu of their "power house" contacts...
I truly look forward to the upcoming alternative energy/hydrogen related conferences, which are due to start in just a few weeks...
Take care all..I wish all those who have invested in this forward looking company, good fortune.
