Hey Fred--Remember my 1 trillion...er...uh, 10 billion prediction? Well if this poster to csy2k is correct we are closer to that 10 billion than I thought.

<snip>
>>>The cost estimate has gone up yet again and they claim it is clear that it
will continue to go higher. Perhaps none of you remember John Koskinen's
remark in march of last year when he laughed at the notion of the budget
going higher than five billion when it was then, currently at 4.5 Billion.
And do not forget the additional three billion in 'emergency funds that have
also been allocated and spent which are NOT being mentioned in this new 6.8
billion number.
That brings the total up to just about 9.8 billion.

And remember this is only for 3994 mission critical systems, not all
75,000=/- systems.
In December of 1997, I wrote that it would exceed ten
billion easily.<<<

Are my prediction powers not vast? Still taking bets...ROTFLMAO
