Aaron, yes looked at it around chirstmas and dismissed it due to bad fundamentals, poor debt, poor earnings, poor book value, poor situation. I loved converse when I was little,I always play turnarounds, and flat out blew this one. I believe that fundamentals, earnings, and any alalysis you can use ove the short term means squat. I guess what I am saying is right now you must play depressed stocks, that will turn around. CVE was a depressed stock, but its rebound has been very irrational, based more on baby boomers nostalgia for the past than on current and future possibilities. I guess what it comes down to is that stocks are only proxies for the emotions of the people buying or selling them, and that the enormous power of the boomers to change history and to make everyone see things as they do has been and will be happening for some time. I should have had blinders on,and bought some, but making money in markets is based more on irrationality than logic. Tim
