Red, My military history is complex. I was a Pfc. in two National Guard units in two different states. SD & UT 1964-66. Back to College in Indiana & ROTC 66-68. 68-70 Infantry Office. Ft. Benning, Ga; Ft. Carson, Co; Panama; and then Viet Nam. In the First Cav. Div. Air Mobile, I rode a lot of choppers, and cut a lot of bush. I did so many Air Combat Assaults from choppers, they gave me an Air Medal. I didn't meet the friendly natives or learn much about the culture. I'm glad I went, and I'm proud of what I did. I have no desire to go back. NW
