Mani - re: "AMD is gaining market share and there is very little Intel can do about it" CORRECTION ! AMD WAS gaining market share. Their shipments will be DOWN 10% this quarter - how do you think that will impact their market share ? And Intel's EPS was at an ALL TIME HIGH last quarter. I'd say that is STRONG GROWTH especially considering that during 1998, 40% of the world was in a deep recession and Intel's major competitor was practicing Kamakaze pricing in CPUs. Yes, a record EPS in the last quarter of 1998 is EXTREMELY remarkable. Wouldn't you agree ? Paul
