ProNetLink.com March Update NEW YORK, March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is an update on ProNetLink.com®, wwww.pronetlink.com, the Global Trade Internetwork and Portal specializing in electronic international trade.
New Functionality for ProNetLink
In the next few weeks ProNetLink.com will be releasing its most advanced version of its international trade webtool. The new portal version offers users over 16 major new modules including a ''front page'' portal that is customized by the user to receive industry specific information. The ProNetLink (OTC Bulletin Board: PNLK - news) portal is designed to allow any type of business to ''cross trade'' with any other type of business. This allows ProNetLink to have a larger trade community than industry specific ''editorial'' portals. The new portal displays trade leads, business news, currency rates, weather, commodities, world time, a personal appointment scheduler and much more. Each area can be custom edited by the user to provide a wide range of information or industry specific data directly to the user's personal ''homepage'', or portal.
All of ProNetLink's detailed trade information, trade forms, resources, tools and statistics are online and can be searched directly from the user's personal portal page or from the strategically designed index pages. ''ProNetLink is designed to facilitate global trade,'' said David Walker, COO of ProNetLink, ''It has to be more than editorial content and a good read ... it has to be real data and real tools that everyone from the smallest start-up company to the largest multi-national conglomerate will find useful in expanding their business. Our goal is to have ProNetLink on your browser all of the time, updating trade information 24 hours a day and providing our members all the tools they need to conduct global business.''
One of the cornerstones of ProNetLink database is the online Directory of International Businesses, which includes almost 3 million companies from over 120 countries. Users have unlimited access to this database to find new trading partners, shipping companies, manufacturers, and/or potential customers.
The advanced technology release introduces a new graphic interface which makes the site visually exciting as well as easy to use.
A new ''Live'' chat feature allows users to communicate and trade in real time over the Internet. Users will be able to store their contact information in a personal address book and their business documents in an online company filing cabinet. These features will make it easy to perform repetitive business functions.
The new E-Store will feature an e-commerce module that will allow users to purchase online trade specific products and books. A portion of the book section will feature ProNetLink's affiliation with Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN - news) and new products will be added on a regular basis.
