PORTSMOUTH, NH (July 25, 1996) -- J.D. Edwards, a leading developer of business solutions software, and Bottomline Technologies, the payment technology company based in Portsmouth, NH, are offering combined software solutions for automating disbursements. J.D. Edwards now offers components of Bottomline's PayBase® system to users of its software.
Under this agreement, Bottomline's LaserCheck® and Check Fraud Avoidance products will be available as an option in J.D. Edwards software. This will allow J.D. Edwards' customers to benefit from Bottomline's ability to streamline the payment process, eliminate pre-printed check stock and attain a level of security and control designed to meet individual system needs, while offering the Windows ease of use benefits. Bottomline products interface with J.D. Edwards' accounts payable and human resource modules, which serve mid- to large-sized organizations.
