Apple has to get back to the graphic designers, who MAKE them who they are...that, and they have to lower their prices.
As I progressed through my graphic design degree, I saw more and more students making the switch to PCs because...
1. The price
2. The SAME software is available on both platforms
3. More studios and companies have both, or require that you know both platforms.
I can work on both, but moneywise was able to expand my system for less. One student told me(that also switched)..."Think different? No, think AGAIN!"
I have to admit that the new G3 systems are nice, but another student ordered one and still doesn't have it totally configured with what he needs yet. However, I I ever decide to work in a studio that has all Macs, sure, I'll work with it,heck I would work on a Coleco ADAM if they paid me!
