A bit off topic :
Howdy boys. I thought I would come over here cause the “promoter” threads haven't been looked at much lately. I got a IR firm for ya but I'm havin a tough time rememberin there name and I thought maybe womebody here might know em. There a bunch of slick Canadian promoters I think somewheres around Montreal. But I got a list and notes on all the stocks they burned me on though. First it was Dion Entertainment a few years back. This piece of cowdung went from $8 to practically nothin. I see this one is goin up again though on the same kinda hype they used last time. Then it was some horse manure called Legacy Storage. These guys were all hot about it callin me all the time about a deal to buy some company in Colorado. Well this one only went from about $4 to a couple of pennies. Then the capper. A real hot coil called Xinex. This was around $3 and then went bankrupt a year or so later. But they still kept callin wiith there new hotter than ever before deals. A cancer company called Altarex went from $7 to about , oh, $0.50 or so. Then another work of art. Colt Energy. Loaded me and my buddies up at around $2.50 where it went straight to $0.30. Like I said this was a pretty slick operation. They would call and fax and send out “research reports” and the whole shabang. There were lots more and EVERY ONE of them was a disaster. I know I'm pretty stupid to keep listenin to these jokers but I finally called them last year and begged them to take me off there fax list. I checked to see what the Colt was doin a while ago (a nasty habit of mine) and I saw it got changed to Keywest. I warned some guys who are followin that one and I thought I would come over here too. My question is does anybody know these scammers or know there name? Anybody else got burned by them? I read in USA Today last week about the FBI breakin up a telephone scam ring in Montreal. Does this have anything to do with them? Any Canadians know anything? Anyways I'm just tryin to be a good neighbor so if any of you guys get a call HANG UP FASTER THAN YOU CAN SAY JIMINY CRICKET! Like I said I think I still got some “research” lyin around I think maybe near the fireplace. I'll update here if I find it.
Happy Trails
Winston
