News Westrend enters discussions on acquisition of distribution rights Westrend Natural Gas Inc WRN Shares issued 25,730,724 Mar 19 close $0.14 Mon 22 Mar 99 News Release Mr. Stephen Winter reports The company has entered into preliminary discussions with Majestic Companies, Ltd., a United States based public company, regarding the acquisition by Westrend of the exclusive international distribution rights to Majestic's proprietary school bus passenger restraint system called "Safe-T-Bar". Followup announcements will be made on the outcome of these discussions. Any transaction will be subject to applicable approvals. The company has declared a shares for debt transaction to settle debt of up to $500,000 (U.S.) with its creditors at 15 cents per share. The transaction is also subject to approval.
