NewsWeek magazine's cover story this week is on mammography. In a side bar to the main article, they discussed various university researchers' work in trying to develop digital breast images with ultrasounds. They did not discuss IDS or like technologies and were generally pessimistic on any new technologies -- and on the likelyhood that any would be adopted in the near future because they are expensive and not more reliable.

That certainly won't boost the stock price.

NewWeek tends to shape the general press' attitude towards technology (especially the Washington Post). I might be stretching here, but a successful IMDS product will likely be viewed as a 'miracle' product by the general public. After that point, I expect to see explosive growth. Until that point, I expect to see that price settle back down to previous norms. Just my opinion.
