The whole world turning cdma? Do you mean IS-95?

If so, and by your statement it implies IS-95 (or you don't actually know anything about the market), where exactly is it shown that the world is turning cdma. Those rose coloured specs must be good.

If you refer to WCDMA and cdma2000, they are different. As everyone knows the term "CDMA" is not licensed and is far older than that San Diego company -it is in its implementation that counts.

GSM is and is likely to always be the dominant 2G technology.
