Larry, fundamentals (at least the ones I use) are not predictive of the market value of a company. From a broad perspective there are only two parameters that determine valuation: long-term interest rates and investor perceptions about the stream of future earnings. The interest rate front looks remarkably stable because inflation is continuing to do the impossible; it has pulled a vanishing act in the face of full employment. But the perception part of the equation is anything but stable. If it were possible to anthropomorphise expectations, they would take the form of manic depressives. I've been invested in Dell for almost two years now, and I've seen this behavior before. In all probability it will flip-flop in a week or two.
