Consider it 'gravy'.

Gary:
If you don't like the extra $3.1 billion Dell earned through 'financial engineering' that is ok,just consider it gravy.

One thing is certain though and that is when it comes to financial management (even after excluding the 'financial engineering' stuff of course) nobody beats Dell bar none.

I for one have no problem with Dell making some 'extra chump change' through whatever means they have available to them,'cos it takes nothing away from Dell's extraordinary performance as a company. Just because they made more money from selling puts and trading calls has nothing to do with anything,if anything it shows their financial acumen to take advantage of the market conditions.
