If you look at the early fighting in the Bosnian conflict, you would see that atrocities were evenly distributed on both sides. The Serbs take more blame simply because they eventually got the upper hand in the conflict. I don't happen to believe we should be the policemen of the world. But if we did believe that's our role, why didn't we intercede in places like Ruwanda where literally a few pistol shots fired in the air could have saved thousands from being hacked to death in the African version of "ethnic cleansing".

Obviously the IMF sales are meant to help shrts cover gold contracts and could care less about the "poor" among the international community.
