KG4, I have never owned DELL, I don't know much of theory.

The reason I see DELL as an old engine is because everybody sells
PC as DELL does on the WEB and sub $1000 and sub $500 pc are
all over places, you can spend $599 for a good box of
333mhz/4 gb/32 ram/56 k/cd from online stores or compuusa or
other stores, why should you buy $1000+ from DELL?

Besides PC only gets about 6-12 months life in technology, before you
know it, your machine is already out of date, why not buying
a $599 box and replacing it with another $599 box with newer gears
12 months later instead of buying in a $1500 box from DELL and feel
sorry for yourself having old technology but feel stupid to replace
it because it costs too much a year later?

Well, again, what do I know? I am a street investor ...
