PPOD Here is a good article on online grocers, there is more than I thought, interesting items is that PPOD is breaking ties with Safeway and others, which is just going to make Safeway want to really compete with them, which of course is something that Grocery stores do with a vengence. Look at the bottom of the article it says that PPOD expects margins of 25%, that is bloody incredible, that they can say that with a straight face. Margins in groceries have always been tiny. 25% and they get in print, bloody amazing! thestandard.net
