pal...bought dell since 10/8...yes..

2000 x 92.5 (pre split)
1500 x 42.5
1500 x 42
3000 x 37.75
sold 40 x 0160 puts
sold 25 x may 50 puts

call me a masochist, whatever, it's got good fundamentals, strong management...and besides as others on this thread will confirm...most thought it a bit heady at 60....6 splits ago...i'm long term..

as far as barely even from end of year...do you buy a stock with the intent that it will go down?...if you liked it at 110, the fundamentals remain the same, perception perhaps changed than 37.5 is a gift...

perception is near sighted..when dell becomes the focus i believe, based on where my investments are that 70 is not so un realistic..

to sell at this point and take a loss is to err as most investors do..if you can't stomach the gyrations necessary to produce reward with balanced risk, then one should buy mutual funds or t-bills...i'm making this a general comment, not directing it to you..

LET'S HAVE A SHOW OF HANDS>>>HOW MANY WERE LONG DURING THE ARAB OIL EMBARGO IN THE SEVENTIES>>>>YOU WANT GUT WRENCHING????....today is nothing when you've been assaulted a million times, and never gave up your wallet....good luck my friend, ed a.
