Tero,

I am not obsessed with Nokia and its handsets either. I am a shareholder of QCOM. You bet I am obsessed with it. It is all about my money. You know. I am sure you feel the same way about NOKIA too.

There is no personal attack from me at all. I just want to point out your own very argument about GSM vs. CDMA.

Sure, companies spent million of dollars develop new technology. Such as QCOM's CDMA. That is why CDMA's royalty rate is a little higher. So why were you complained about it before. So Other companies spent only a couple of hundred millions on WCDMA you think it is a big deal? Hey. Those companies are in for profit not for argument sake. If I know there are money to make, you are sure I will get involved too. However, it does not mean those companies (including your Nokia and ERICY) can go it alone without paying royalty to QCOM which is the company I owned and obsessed with.

Comment on my question if you can on Nokia's WCDMA and IDC's WCDMA efforts.

Best,

Brian H.
