Fore Systems Inc. (FORE) rose a second day, up 1 13/16, or 11 percent, to 18 13/16, after rising as high as 19 5/16, amid speculation that it could be the next maker of computer- networking equipment to be bought by a large telephone-equipment company such as Ericsson AB (ERICY).
