Hey have I got the ultimate Trash story for you guys! I have an account with around 140K in it. I have had the account for a few years but never used it until I moved to my new job and deposited the money only recently. Well it took a while for me to get the trading started even with the money wired into my account. Now I did give them my new address, phone number and email address. In fact I must have entered my new email address at 3 different places on their web site. Even got trade confirmations via email in pdf format emailed to me. Well today I get a call from James in their margin department, it seems I got a call on the day trading by selling and buying the same stock. Seems I have done this twice before and they mailed me the info to my old EMail address even though I am not sure who all I told what my new email address was, Even had a few replies from them on some of my questions and problems. Oh he called me at WORK on my cell phone after 12 or so. Seems he wants $1600.00!! By tomorrow morning or he will close my account. Ofcourse the fan has to be in full swing for shit to happen, Some of my holdings are down 50% in the last week. I am in another state and my bank dont have a branch here. I have pay checks but cant deposit it since there is no damn branch here to deposit it to to write a check from, Been using my ultimate trash checks. I have other brokers account, but the cash ones need 3 days for me to sell the shares to get the cash. The others also need time to liquidate to sell something and get the cash. And get this.. THEY ALL FARKIN CLOSE THE WIRE DEPT BY 2PM!!! Even though I have enough money in one of the margin accounts. So tomorrow morning they can close by account for 1600 bucks, even though I still have like 80K in equity in the account, I say shove ABWatley! This is worse than ETrade. At least ETrade was not stupid enough to blatently change margin requirements for stocks just because they belonged to a particular INDEX. Another broker to BEWARE!!!!!!!! Oh Yea I should mention remember the LCOS announcement? The day it droped 30 points? Well I had LCOS, Well I wanted to sell in the morning @ 94 pre market, But coudnt cause Ultimaet Trash was giving me not enough margin to place trades. Well I called and they connected me to the margin department and I left a message for James who never returned my calls. Of course the stock was dropping like a rock and here I am looking at loosing $1000.00 a minute. No call back and in the end their server came back on line and I sold @ 77. ??????????????? I called later in the day and they told me OH THE DAMN SERVER WAS DOWN! Why they did not tell me this when I called the first 2 times and connect me to the margin department I have no idea about.
