thanks, logical question....your second comment was right, as I remember....I really think people with real small dollars should learn my "PSYCLE sm" concepts fully, first, trading on paper, then, only if they can lose it all in one second, with no repercussions, financially or mentally, sure, take the shot....you gotta start somewhere....I began with under $ 10 K., but when I had $ 2,000 in college, I bought $ 1. and $ 2. stocks in bases, and did real well....understanding, that a huge 100 % gain on $ 500., is still not going to help much in the bigger scheme....I just think that one must really diversify more, say, 3-5-7 positions, at all times, for increasing chances of catching bigger winners when correct, and having losers not put pressure on you so much, when cutting losses....so, there is no perfect answer, but, if that's all I had, losable, I'd probably accumulate, say $ 6 K, then get into 3 ideas ? each to his own....also, most B-firms will not allow options trading unless one shows more assets, and starts with more money anyway....people with small dollars are to be respected and helped, as I do and have, I just don't want those people to be misled by dreams of riches....hope this helps, keep in touch....BTW, been adding more Puts in my NL's lately again....
