Merrill has Amgen as both short and long term buy. I interviewed Jim McCamant of the Medical Technology Letter last week for Mark Johnson's IFC site on Silicon Investor and asked him what he thought of the company - he was very critical to my surprise. FWIW my write up is at techstocks.com but I do not mention his critical analysis and probably should have - you can listen to his specific comments on Amgen by going to audioinvestor.com and if you don't want to listen to the entire interview go to minute 20 of the 25 minute tape to hear his take. Again, I was surprised how pointed his critcism was.
