<<lack of liquidity>>
LT that is sort of my thinking too. (Gee, I hate it when us bears agree on some things. Perhaps it is completely opposite! -g-) Money is tight. Today I made a quick trade on FORE (lost money - nothing new! -g-) But, my market order to buy was executed in one block at about 1/4 higher on the ask and my market order to sell was executed in 4 trades at 1/4 and 5/16 point(s) lower on the bid. More than the buy, the sell got me thinking. They couldn't find buyers for a tiny number of shares of one of the most actives of the day (compared to 16 mil or so traded today.) I know NAsDAQ MMs are crocked, but it is difficult to play tricks on such an actively traded issue.
This and INTC price drop are telling. Most of Intels downticks for the day occurred on very smaller blocks. Go figure!
