Donald

good observation...today they sold into the highs in the nets...i've seen this before..it happens "out of the blue" and with a vengence..with out warning....

then all of a sudden when you think it's death & taxes<g>, BINGO, everydody dives in with both feet all over again... and ZOOM up they go..all of them, just like a stampede....

I can't for the life of me forsee a bear market Don..not now, esp. if we tend to slow later this year...bear markets usually happen because of higher interest rates, higher inflation etc...oil won't be factor...

with the FED acommodative this is not possible...what occured in Oct 98, was not a bear market imo...i lived thru a bear market from the late 80's thru early 90's...that was no picnic...rates were 22% and you couldn't get any money..the banks were NOT lendng then...

in any case Don, this quarter is almost predictive when it comes to the techs...it's always slower than the last Q...but i think there will be upside surprises in the techs...things have not slowed that much...it will be interesting to see the forward guidence from the big boys...

If the Internets really take a hit, then all hell will break loose...they have become more than just a fad..they're the "Real Deal"...not only is it where the action is, it's where the future of all commerce will be...everyone should own 25-30% of ones portfolios in the nets...AOL right at the top...MSFT next etc...

the growth in these stocks is infinate...we are just at the tip of this explosion...an amzing trading/investing vehicle....

fun too....:>}
