Re <<I guess YOU are the STUPID one. DLJ is predicting a 12 PER CENT PC UNIT SALES INCREASE in Q1:>>

Paul, Paul, Paul,

Listen and you might learn something. I am going to say this only once more, I have a feeling it will not be enough.

Growth in a quarter can mean two things. One, in relevant to last year (first quarter of this year, vs. first quarter of last year), or two in relevant to last quarter. The 12 percent increase is year over year (first quarter of this year, vs. first quarter of last year), not from the previous quarter. Year over year AMD's shipment growth is MUCH bigger than 12%, meaning market share gain for AMD.

AMD's unit shipment will be down 10% from the PREVIOUS quarter, and it is less than the industry's over all shipment reduction of 14% (current IDC estimate) due to seasonality. This means that despite AMD's manufacturing problems, it continues to gain market share. You seem to have a hard time facing this fact.

Paul, stop playing with words and taking things out of context, you are making a serious fool out of yourself.
