I think my geo. friend in Quebec City area is pleased. At last there is someone who agrees with him that the NWI occurrence may be a remnant of something else.

However, he has a point to make about the other bulls-eye anamolies. I've copied his wording directly from an e-mail he sent.

<< I have a detailed geological map of the area (Lac Rocher area,
SI-32K09-C3G-98C) and the four bulls-eye anomalies are located over four different lithologies. One is in the granite intrusive (the NWI «plug»), one is over a diorite plug, the third over metagneisses and the last over amphibolites. Outcrops confirm these four settings. Small amount of copper (612 ppm) was found near the fourth anomaly (The SW one).

From that, I have concluded that they are probably not related. >>

I'm wondering if you might have any thoughts on the matter, Mineman, and what the implications might be? There could be some positive aspects.

Regards,

Bob
