taxman, It appears implied volatility on options has increase to about 50 from the approx 39 I saw a couple of weeks ago. My guess that is could increase due to split is proven to be correct. It is nice to guess correctly once in a while. I think the comment by the trader in the article about a settlement in the case does not explain why the volatility was still high a last week. newsalert.com
