Thank you for the additional thought on a recovery scenario. It happens to be the one I favor. I think we are seeing a shift in geopolitics in Asia that favors China and at the expense of Japanese hegemony. What will be interesting is how the U.S. plays this scenario. In any case Japan has largely sacrificed its vaunted influence in the region IMHO.

(One of the reasons I continue with my Mandarin tutelage though I try the patience of my teacher to an extreme).
