When is a 'steal' not a steal? When the market says it's not, and the market has been saying that about OAC for quite a while. From any analysis of a price chart, this stock is in the grit-your-teeth-and-stick-it-out category. The longs are seeing this become a longer and longer-term investment each week as prospects for a return to higher price levels appear to dim more and more. About the 80 cent dividend, you may need to do some more homework. In December, OAC's Board decided to terminate the company's classification as a REIT and suspend the last dividend of 1998. From OAC's press release at that time, "there can be no assurance as to whether or when that dividend will be paid." See biz.yahoo.com OAC a steal? Not likely.
